The White Hart Hotel, Old Beaconsfield

Popular pub, restaurant and hotel, a 'Vintage Inn'

The hotel's sign stands across the road from the building. In 1624 the licensee, Nat Aldridge, was fined two pence for putting it up on 'The Lord's waste' (i.e. land owned by the Lord of the Manor). The sign is still placed away from the building. See the Beaconsfield Walk.

The George Hotel, Old Beaconsfield

Luxury family run hotel, old world, discrete and charming

This was an inn by 1489 or so and the building is a great deal older than its brick frontage and Georgian-style windows. Behind the facade remains the medieval and Tudor building. A small panel of the original wattle and daub construction may still be seen inside. See the Beaconsfield Walk.
